Hurt Somebody is a single by Senegalese American hip hop/R&B singer, Akon, from his new street album “The Koncrete Mixtape” (2012). The song features American rapper and singer of Moroccan and Somali descent French Montana.

Akon’s upcoming CD, titled “Stadium”, is slated to come out in the United States on September 11.

“It’s really to promote non-gun violence. If you got a problem with somebody, ya’ll should just take it in the ring”. “We men, let’s handle it. If we can’t talk about it, then let’s fight about it.” Akon explained message behind the video when premiering it on BET’s “106 & Park”.
